HELP with Brightwood Demon Door!

I ask for help because my Demon Door is different from anyone elses I've ever read.

First I was asked to bring his Cheese, which wasn't out of the ordinary.

But then he asked me to have a Handlebar Mustache, and a Mullet. I was just kind of like, "Wtf? Ok." Everyone else I've read needed Mutton Chops and Dreadlocks... So I got the Hair and Facail styles and went back.

He then asked me to put on a Corset, Posh Trousers, and a Bandit's Bandana... What happened to the Yokel Hat, Gent's Shirt, and Tant Skirt??

I was assuming the Posh Trousers were just trousers with some Posh 5.0% Posh. I finally found the Corset after like an hour of looking around Albion. And I happened to have a Bandit's Bandana in my inventory. So I put on all the clothing items and went back.

I get there and he goes, "Who would waste their time when there are much more magnificant doors out there? Although your scant look is making me feel better. I should have told you to find a "silver cape". Never would have found one of those!"

And he just keeps repeating that over and over again...

Can anybody PLEASE help me?
What is the Silver Cape he's talking about??

Dude? A silver cape? I didnt know there were capes in the game. It didnt ask for a cape in my world. I dunno homie, hopefully some one else has the answer and when they find it please send me a message on how to get the cape.

Yeah. Maybe that is the point though. Maybe there is NO Silver Cape... But still, I have no idea on how to open the Demon Door. And it's making me very annoyed.

Try tapping A a few times- that normally gets you in.

hmm. i havnt opened that door either. but as far as you needing different stuff from everyone else, if you already had on the stuff the door would normaly ask for it will ask for something different.

I've pressed A until my finger couldn't press A anymore. I've waited and waited and he doesn't ask for anything else. It's just the same lines over and over again [what I wrote above]

I figured it out!! The Silver Cape was the Archmage Robe. Took forever to figure out!

The strumpet skirt is the tart skirt available in Bloodstone's clothing shop. I've also heard it's available from wandering traders in Brightwood but have never seen it there myself.

As for the door, he kept saying the silver cape thing with me too.. then just let me in after a few A taps. No idea why the archmage robe let you in

The posh trousers ar the noblegents trousers and make sure you are not wearing a coat or gloves. I had the same problem. Leave and come back after. That fixed it for me

I have the strumpet skirt from a couple of my games. I got them from the Bowerstone shop. I think it's a little random sometimes, where it is.

IGNORE THE SILVER CAPE THING...
when he says about the silver cape he is just trying to prevent letting you in [it gets really annoying though].

if your character is female i found that you needed : a bandit bandanna, a corset, noble gents trousers, handlebar moustache and a mullet.

once you have all of the things you will need [ it helps to listen to the door as i may have got it wrong and they tend to be a little random ] you should go up to the door and he starts talking about a silver cape. if you press A a few times he should let you in. if this doesnt work ill be looking for more ways to get in.
