Help with email notification problem

I had my email notification set to daily but I decided my inbox was getting too cluttered so I put it to no notification but still automatic subscription. Thing is I am still getting emails on a daily basis. Can anyone help?

I would remove any threads that you subscribed to and turn off auto subscribe I'm not sure if this is the problem or not but that's what filled my in box for me a while back

Thanks. I managed to fix it by changing the subscription type of my old threads.
