Help With Laptop Fan Control.

Sadly, I only have a laptop to use for gaming. But when my laptop overheats to much it will shutdown. I do have a cooling pad set on high and It still shuts down randomly, does anyone know what I can do to fix this or is there a fan control program for laptops?

Re: Help With Laptop Fan Control.

Actually, this even happens with i'm on the web.

Windows Vista Home Premium

Processor: AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-58 1.90 GHZ

Memory(RAM): 1918MB

System Type: 32- bit operating system.

Yeah I know it's not a good laptop.

And thank you for taking the time to help me. :)

It's Toshiba, and when it comes to computer hardware I am clueless, where can I find information about the power supply?

Re: Help With Laptop Fan Control.

It could be as simple as a bad lap top lol. On my old lap top it would shut down for no reason. Is it always plugged in? it could be your battery

Yes, it's always plugged in.

Re: Help With Laptop Fan Control.

Use compressed air and spray your fan with it? Maybe dust is slowing it down or clogging it up so it isn't working properly
