Help with my master SKORM

Can anyone please tell me what person I should sacrifice to Skorm to get his bow? Please tell me who and when. Thanks if you help.

Re: Help with my master SKORM

the good mercenary from oakvale at midnight when he takes his pay... thats your best chance

Re: Help with my master SKORM

You have to do all the Hired Henchmen at Midnight when you get paid.. 1 at a time will work you'll just get it on the last guy.

I got it the first time i ever did it.. So good luck to you my friend! :D

Re: Help with my master SKORM

Whether you get the bow depends on if you are good or evil. A good character has a MUCH better chance of getting it than an evil character, to which it is pretty much impossible to get with.

Oh well there you go.. I got it striaght away and i was like Neutral i think..

Re: Help with my master SKORM

Thanks Guys. SKORM SPARES YOU!

Re: Help with my master SKORM

I read many guides, of course they all conflict with each other different people saying different things.

Here is my experience.

4 attempts using the oakvale guy failed, highest evil points gained was just over 200 far short.
1st attempt with good merc from the good temple area worked.
I am fully good.
I did it at midnight.

What I did notice is that when the merc takes his pay it is not actually dead on the hour, it seems its hourly from when you hire him so if you hire him at 2.20pm eg. then he will take at 20 mins past each hour which is probably one of a few reasons why people fail. A far better way to do this safely and worked first time for me is wait till you hear a guard say in the background lights out you oribble lot (yes you will hear this in temple). I turned of background music to make it easier to hear. When he says immediatly do the sacrifice and skip cut scenes.

Another tip that appears to be accurate is when it fails, there is 2 different messages, the one where says insufficent means you did too late and the other is too early.

I got no comment on the time of day when fully evil and neutral etc. as I have only been doing it fully good, but if you think about it logically, its easier to get the gifts from the chapel when you evil so it makes sense that if you reverse it, then been fully good helps at the temple.

So good merc from chapel area.
Wait for lights out you orrible lot.
fully good hero with halo.
of course double check he is fully healed.

Re: Help with my master SKORM

I used the guy outside avo temple. Worked 1st time and I waited for 'lights out you orrrible lot'.

everytime I did it on the time he took his pay it didnt work, in my opinion the pay is taken hourly from when you hire him and not on the hour on the clock.
Then later in the game after I stopped using experience I used the oakvale guy on the 'lights out you orrible lot' and got the age reduction 1st time 9 years.

Everytime I used the oakvale guy when he took his pay I only got around 150-250 evil points and no gift.

Re: Help with my master SKORM

heres a tip for 100% evil ppl, because i am 100% evil and i started gettin rly p o'ed when i offered like 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 mercenaries at midnight,

ok, if ur fully evil, first of all, make sure ur recall is the chapel of skorm, then just get about 50k(pretty easy), go to the temple of avo and donate it, it should give u a bunch of good points, walk outside and hire the henchman there, now teleport to the chapel of skorm, make sure it is either nighttime or u have a moonfish on u, now wait til it is midnight, and dont go by when u pay the mercenary cuz it doesnt work like that and im not gunna go into detail, but wait until u hear the "lights out" thing or whatever, i reccomend that u turn ur music sound down so u can hear this better, and immediately when u hear that, talk to the arcolyte guy, u should get most of your evil points back, and the ever illusive Skorm's bow, this guide only seems like it is long because i had to type it and explain a couple things, so dont stress, happy killing :D
