Help with Ranged weapons

Got Fable 2 yesterday and was wondering, how exactly do i get my crosshair up? I heard Theresa (?) [female narrator] saying "this could be over before they know" by bringing it up. Although my Xbox overlaps my TV so i cant read the little bar at the top [this has fixed now] still cant figure it out, though

You need to upgrade your Destrous Style skill under Abilities < Skills section.
I beileve its like the 2nd or 3rd upgrade, not sure though.

Otherwise you can't use a crosshair

Also, how come i cant pick up Oakfield Massacre?
I have the "!" showing up at the guy, but he keeps talking abotu sacrificing, even though i have the sword

Changed screen size in my TV from "Auto" to 16:9
