Help

My dumb charger dosent work. The thing you put of the controller isnt red so that means it isnt chargeing please help.

Re: Help

Are talking about the play and charge kit?
If so here are some things to try
* Check the connection to the Xbox
* Remove and re-attach the battery from the controller
* Try the battery in another controller
* try a different charge cable (if you have one)

Re: Help

Hmmm, maybe check the connection to see if there's any crud on it

Re: Help

Nope i cleaned the area around my 360 it had a lot of dust but my charger is still not working. I'll take a look at the charger.

Re: Help

Can you use the controller with the charger plugged in?

Re: Help

The battery always runs out so i cant play.

Re: Help

You should be able to run off the charge cord. If you can and it dies after you unplug is the battery is most likely dead. If you can't then it might be the battery and might be the cord I'm Not sure let me do a test

I just pulled my battery out and the light didn't turn on but the controller worked. So it sounds like the battery isn't working. Check the contact points on it and see if the need cleaning. If everything seems in order but it still doesn't charge I suggest you get a new battery. How long have you had the Play and charge kit? It might still be under warranty.

Oh you should be good then Just check the contacts points before taking it back to the store or returning it to Microsoft. You could buy a new one and return the old one as defective. It's a bit unethical but seeing as it's still in warranty it should be cool.

Re: Help

Grr i should of just bought the more expensive charger. I got the one with a chargable battery pack and some thing with a cord to put into my 360 and some thing to put on my controller.

Re: Help

I have the same one it works great! You have to expect a certain percent of things to go bad just replace it and go back wireless land :D

Should get some 2500 mAH batteries (usually used in digital cameras) only take 2 hours to charge and last a long time.

Thats what i use in mine anyway.

Re: Help
