Hero of bowerstone

It will be totally unacceptable if your hero from fable 2 dies from:

a) Logan kills him in a straightup fight
b) Poison or some other pansy death (carriage crashes, ambush etc)
c) Killed by traitorous guards
d) fell over

I think the hero is too skilled to die by such methods and it would really annoy me if he dies like that. IMO you should be able to play as your hero from fable 2 during the death sequence so as to avoid the feeling that control has been taken away from you.

Re: Hero of bowerstone

Some people say it will be old age, though i doubt it, Theresa is still alive after 500 years. :P
My guess is Logan slits his throat when he is asleep because he knows he would never be able to kill him in a straight up fight.

Re: Hero of bowerstone

The Hero of Bowerstone is already dead when the story of Fable III begins. Apparently he built the Guild Chambers (aka:the new pause menu) before his death. So far not much is known about it.

However, I'm sure this will be specified in Fable III. Somethings tells me that the Hero of Bowerstone died of old age.

Previews state that you leave the castle after an 'injustice' happens to your parent so unless that parent is your mother then i would think the hero is still alive

Injustice could be also that they let their parent die from a disease without helping them. Injustice could be also an assassination or something similar.

There are many kind of injustices that could happen, especially against a king. I'm sure this will be specified in the story of Fable III in a good way, to explain what happened to the Hero of Bowerstone.

Re: Hero of bowerstone

I thought the injustice happens while Logan is king. Like he gets the crown and you stick around long enough to watch him become a tyrant. To the point where someone protests and he just shoots them in the face.

Re: Hero of bowerstone

I believe Logan is already king at the begining of Fable 3. By looking at the opening cinematic the first visual is of Albion's Fable 3 flag and on it are the letters L.R. and in keeping with English Tradition I believe it to be the royal cypher (a kind of latin monogram used by the monarch) standing for Logan Rex or in english Logan the King.

Lol. Regina is Queen, overan. Rex is king.

Yes, Logan is already the king in Fable III. Pretty much that or he has taken over the kingdom when the Hero of Bowerstone was begone. I have to say that I agree with your theory here, it could be Logan Rex indeed.

Re: Hero of bowerstone

Well, if I remember correctly, in the beginning of Fable 3 you actually stumble upon your parent's tomb. So, that leads me to believe that you'll get a final look of him regardless if there is no kind of fight sequence with you playing the hero of Bowerstone against Logan.

Would you mind showing some proof.

He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, and then one night, his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic that he could save others from death, but not himself.

(sorry, couldn't resist!)
