Hero Raise Dead???

ok i was looking through the will abilities looking to change something when i find this entry called HERO_ABILITY_WILL_RAISE_DEAD
Anyone know what this is?

I know that someone made a raise dead spell.

Not to be picky, but wouldn't "Raise Dead" be a "good" spell? If I remember my DnD, "Raise Dead" is a ressurection-type spell.

What we'd be looking would be a "Animate Dead", no?

Raising the dead is a funny way to put it really. Because what you are doing is "re-animating" it really. The whole raising part is probably just due to the image of zombies "raising out of their graves" n' stuff.



Not that both powers (as a Good and Evil version of the same spell) wouldn't be totally awsome.

It gets a bit Black and Whiteish right there, folks!

eh, I believe that spell is just a prototype of the "summon" spell.
The coincidence of the summon stealing the soul of the monster it takes is way too big to ignore, that and the fact that they have the same sign code in the menu.

Reanimating dead has taken a turn since DnD days its evil now just like they said.

The mod I did was just a hijack of the Ghost Sword spell.
The real Raise Dead spell was stripped. Since Spells and Some expressions are linked to the exe they can't be touched. As in no adding or removing.
