Heros best friend?

i just got fable 2 yesterday and have only played a few quests. i was wondering if there is any way to get rid of your dog, or perhaps leave it at your house or something like that? its not that i don't like having the dog but i was just wondering. any info would be appreciated.

after the storyline you can chewse to not have it anymore, i wish i kewd leave it home 2 all it does is bark at stewpid treasures that i otherwise wewd never bother picking up like chocolate and java potions.

Mine's okay, except that he hallucinates or something. He'll look somewhere and growl like an enemies are near, which they never are. Other than that, he's my buddy so I'd never abandon him.

I feel the same way. I adore the dog and can't play without him.^_^

I love my dog, he gets annoying sometimes but I deal with it because he has to deal with my rather nasty farts .

unlimited I think cause when he is hurt and you press the dwon emote he heals to about just above half. Allways

well i haven't played the game long enough to know whether or not i will like having the dog, only time will tell. i recently found out that he can do tricks and you can play with him, i like him better already!

I have my dog with level 5 digging and fighting. It's awesome to see him finish off an enemy.

I was of the impression that the dog was awesome. I have changed my mind recently. He is in the way more often than not. After 10 plus playthroughs, with the exception of one or two silver keys he has never dug up anything useful. Rancid beef jerky anyone? Yeah glad I waited for 2 minutes while he walked around the dig spot for that. The only way he spots treasure chests are because I am standing at them opening them when he notices!

I like the dog as a companion, just for the novelty of having a dog. He just needs to hang out and not try to help though.

Define great stuff. I mean he can find decent things, but there isn't anything really unique that I have seen. Sure he can dig up augment stones now, and large amounts of gold etc. It's nothing I need though.

I would like to see him dig up something that lead to a new quest. Or a unique dye only available through level 5 digging. Something different that I could not otherwise get. It's just that by the time he is level 5, there is nothing I really need anymore.

on my evil char i chose sacrafice then dashboard -> wealth for the acheivments, and i regret not going back and getting family. its boring **** without him. i enjoy just running around places with him on my main (good) char, even when i do nothing
