Hey Mods..

I was just wondering has any low life guy made an account or several accounts at once just to give himself Rep?

It just came to mind if you could do that whilst not being caught.. So.. caught anyone trying?

If you look up the rules: http://forums.projectego.net/forum-rules-guidelines-9191/#post200413

You'll see this:

• You are permitted to register one account with the forum, attempting to create multiple usernames is not acceptable.

So in short: No. Personally I've never Brought The Wrath Down™ on a member for this particular reason, however, as you can see it is against the rules to have more than one forum account.

Also, you might "think" that you might not get caught. But we have scary powers, so we can find out. Scary powers...

your fourm name has you ip address in it all they do is run a quick data check and search results show them all the fourm names with all the same IP address. its very simple to do and I wont explain no more becuase its easy to pass if you know how =p

Yes, even the most powerful of scary powers can be fooled. However, I doubt anyone would go through all that trouble that comes with it just to change your Rep.

Also, we can check who gave you Rep and for which post, so if we see that it's a lot from the same username(s) and for some random posts, a little alarm goes off...

It's not actually mine, but a friend's and he let me have some of his games for a while as his 360 is in for repairs.

Not a game I would pay full retail price for, but it kills some time and is fairly entertaining. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, since I don't watch the anime, but hey - giant robots beating the crap out of other giant robots, so it's all goooood.

Hahah yeah well i expected it to be far better then what i thought.. so yeah i shouldnt of had high hopes.. So a bit of a let down.

but yeah its Okay to fly in the air then strike down with a huge metal sword at some other Robot..

Well, to be honest I didn't expect much. All the Dynasty Warrior games are pretty awful and the same, and this was just an obvious clone like all the others, just re-skinned with Gundams.

It is OK, but I wouldn't say it's Game of the Year material. :lol:

I dont know.. I quite liked Dynasty 2 i think it was.. But yeah it sure as hell aint close to Fable II.. not even CLOSE! Haha..

If someone did try and boost their rep this way...it would be pointless.
The rep you give depends on how much you have.

For example.

The rep i could give atm is relativly low...5points...10 maybe?

An admin with Ooober amounts of Rep such as Andy or Angel would apply several hundred/thousand points of rep per '+rep'.

If a member started a new account and randomly placed rep, a whole day of hitting the rep button for yourself would barely equal to one honestly earned rep given from a farly active member or an admin/mod ^_^

Yeah, because you never know if you'll encounter a hamster who's so stubborn about getting treatment that he will only agree to it if you max the rep on his forum account.
