hi.this isn't really an introductory thread but whatever.so i was playing gta the other day and i thought ''wouldnt it be cool if i could choose what to say to people '' etc , so i asked my friend and he said-''well theres fable , or a game called oblivion'' and i saw an ad the other day for fable-you know the one where they all tip the statue,?long long long story short ive ordered it off amazon it coming tommorow.does anyone have any tips or anything? e.g what frame of mind to be in , how to make monies ???? any help would be appreciated.

Fable is awesome, but I'm sorry to tell you that you don't get to choose your dialog choices. You ordered Fable 3? More minimal on the RPG elements in general.

If you want a game with lots of the dialog-choice, make-a-decision type stuff, Mass Effect is very good in that department. Fable mostly just has a few preset choices, in that you can choose what quests to take, whether to rob people blind, commit mass murder, and so on.

ive never actually played fallout games , never knew they were desicion-making kinda games

I can't speak for the other Fallout titles, because I haven't played them, but I can say that for most quests in NV, there are several endings.

if your looking into fallout, just be prepared for DLC galore... i think all the DLC for Fallout 3 costs more than the game right now.
4 DLCs for $10 each if i remember correctly. maybe more.

Oblivion was fun! It kinda sucked that it was a single player though. =\
