Hidden Treasure Clues! (Help)

I have a problem with this quest, I have all clues except for #3, and I know how to get it. I have killed all the assassins who try to attack me, but the problem is the last one is in hook coast, I have defeated him, and then I finished the "Gateway to Hook Coast" quest (where your mother finds that book in Maze's room) so now I know that I have to talk to the guildmaster to get the final clue before I can get the frying pan. But the catch is that all he can talk about is doing the final quest! Is this just a glitch and I have to live without the frying pan, or is there something I need to do?

P.S. I don't know if this is relevant but the "Assassin Attacks" quest is still under my "Current Quests" tab, and it still says its based in Knothole Glade, even though I have killed that assassin, and checked for him a few times.

First, you should make sure you've killed all five assassins. They are in Knothole Glade, Witchwood Cullis Gate, Hook Coast, Windmill Hill, and Prison Path. If you have killed them all, I would suggest revisiting these places. I've had assassins from this quest appear more than once, so killing them again could fix your problem, but that's just a guess. Other than that, I don't know how to help you with the third treasure clue.

The Guildmaster does not give you a treasure clue. I'm not sure which one you're missing (besides number three from the Assassin Attacks quest), so I'll list their locations here:

#1: Complete Bounty Hunt quest
#2: Complete Lost Trader quest
#3: Complete Assassin Attacks quest
#4: Beat the high score twice in Knothole Glade's archery competition or kill the man who runs it
#5: Open the chest behind the barn at Orchard Farm
#6: Open the chest behind the windmill at Windmill Hill
