Welcome! You'd be surprised how many forums I join with little or no knowledge of the subject matter so it's still great to have you here. It's worth trying out Fable but even if you never do, there's always the general discussion, other gaming threads, Tavern Cellar and Pub Games to participate in here

Fable is very different than Mario for the SNES. Like Angel said there is a lot of stuff to talk about but as Sephi said, the large majority is about Fable and gaming in general =]
