Hitman-Absolution1.jpg
Square Enix released a new video showing off some gameplay in I/O Interactive's upcoming Hitman Absolution today. I have to say its looking really impressive and thats coming from someone who hasnt owned ANY of the Hitman titles.

I feel pretty bad for never having properly played a Hitman game before, first time I played one was 11 years ago and even then it was just the demo. But I had so much fun with it at the time that it boggles my mind how I never managed to get into the series. What the hell was wrong with me?

This game looks nice and I guess it's never too late to finally get into something, has a release date been given yet?

Im exactly the same, they always looked great and friends always told me how good they were yet I never owned any of them. I didnt own Max Payne 1 or 2 either but looking forward to the 3rd so I guess no its never too late to get into games like this. Mainly because they are either being aimed at new fans or have been ages since the last title so the developers are expecting people to have forgotten what happened in originals. Hasnt got a nailed down release date yet and is just meant to be released in Q4 2012 so around October/November time id imagine.

I agree. I never played Max Payne either, mainly the timing was bad for me because there was an influx of other creative titles popping out and I didn't feel like rolling the dice way back then. It wasn't often I had $50 to spare and throw around. But 4th quarter sounds good, plenty of time to save up some money for it and put it to the side.

Again it was the same with me, birthdays and Christmas was when I had an influx of titles but I was always swamped by them and it must not have made the list. Yeah ive got so many games ive got my eye on at the minute and others to finish that Q4 sounds great currently as it gives me some time.
