Y'know, I always wondered, what's it like having the christmas/holiday season in the summer time? Also, how exposed are you to American media, TV, and movies in which the holiday season is always set in the snow?

Christmas in 40 degree heat is just something that is normal to us I guess. We get a lot of Northern Hemisphere media (where else are we going to get TV from, New Zealand? psh), so we're pretty familiar with the idea of a winter Christmases, but it's not really something we can relate too. Sometimes it feels like we're a bit confused, like we have all these snowy Christmas decorations or whatever, but it doesn't even snow here at all.
