House/Spouse bug

Well, I killed my spouse. I know, I'm awful. Anyway, the house we were staying in can't be put up for rent or sold and the 'Set Budget' option is still there. I do believe this is a bug, anyone care to confirm?

i have the same problem, but i just moved houses. it sucks now that i cant rent it out.

I have the same bug, except I moved my wife from the house to another and now can't sell or put up for rent.

I'm not sure if this will help because it's not the same situation. I killed one husband and noticed that I no longer had any choices on my house. I got engaged and brought my fiance over to the house and could now set it as a martial home and got remarried. Now I see all the choices on the menu for that house again.

I am having the same problem. I married that jerk Alex. Even though I treated him like gold he never gave me any gifts. When he wanted a bigger home, I moved him, but was unable to put the prior house up for rent. Finally decided to divorse the good-for-nothing, and now I can put either house up for rent. I am loosing a lot of money due to that man. >.<

Same here, i had Alex, she got attacked by bandits then i had the funiture seller in bowerstone, i treated her like royalty, i moved house 3 times with her and she died coz of bandits now none of the houses can be rented : (

I'm having the same problem. I married Robin the Aristocrat and he bitched about how my house was a monstrocity.


So, we moved and now I can't rent out or sell the first house. I know we moved properly because my son who is still in a crib has relocated to the new property.


Evil no good rich SOB won't let me rent out the house.


Or, I like to think so. >3

Okay I don't think it is a Bug..

It just might be a Special House.. When you bought it Did it say you Couldn't sell or rent it out?

Cause if its A Special HOuse you CANNOT rent it out OR Sell it..

Mine wasn't a special house. The one in question for me is the one directly next to the Cow and Corset in Bowerstone. When I bought it it never mentioned anything about being special, nor that I couldn't ever rent it out. It gave me the option to rent it out when I bought it, but I wanted it to be a marital home.
