How do i do my dog's learned tricks?

Ive got many tricks for my doggy, but when I go to the dog emotion screen it only lists the originals and I cant find the new tricks anywhere. Help anyone?

Yeah each dog trick is triggered by an expression that you use...I can't give any examples from memory but try some out when other villagers are around and the dog should do something too.
