How do I raise the economy?

How do I raise the economy of a town? I own 31 buildings in Bowerstone Market, and have all the rent set to the lowest, -100% or -60%. I am also a 5 star blacksmith and yet, it is still a 1 star economy. It's been like this for 2 days in real time. So do I have to wait longer, or do these actions not affect the economy?:(

Re: How do I raise the economy?

well i once saw on the tip menu thingy that putting better furniture in houses raises the economy, as well as investing money in the goods there (ie buying stuff) and also doing jobs in the town

Re: How do I raise the economy?

okay i put new furniture in houses and now its a three start after 4 house of redecorating, so i'm gonna continue untill its a five star for all towns i own property in, then set the rent at 0% and make a ton of money. thanks jack

Re: How do I raise the economy?

I own all the houses and shops in Albion(Including the suprising Thag's Hut), so buying furniture for every bloody house is kinda... You know... Friggin' time-consuming. And I don't like to work. Any other ways? Set shops to 100%/120% and houses anywhere from -100%(Gypsy Carts) to 0%(Most of the other houses.)
