How does one trade?

I have a newbie quesiton and I admit it.

I have seen lots of threads with "looking for this or that", "willing to trade this or that", etc. However, I cannot find any thread that explains to me (and all other new people) how one actually goes about "trading". So my question is this: How does one actually initiate a "trade" and what are the rules (for example, what can one trade")?

You can trade any non-DLC items and money.
To Trade you must enter someone's game, approach the other player and when promted hit the left bumper.

That's quite easy to learn! Open your Fable III box, take the manual and... Read it! Afterwards you can guess that people do trade by basically exchanging "gifts" to each other. I mean, it's quite obvious... Just take a look into the manual and you will understand what I mean.
