^ lie! i played alot and its when you go to the spire it will grow >_> nothing else seems to trigger the growth

Uh no, 30 mins, even backed up by the guide.
You went to the spire, yeh, thats 10 years, but 30 mins real time is 9 years in game.

Uhm, I don't think so. I've been playing the game for 10 hours and I haven't even gone to the spire yet and my character hasn't aged at all. If this were true my character would have reached the maximum age by now for sure.

If you hadn't known, the age progresses as you go through the story, not waiting around, if you wait 30 mins it is infact 9 years, but you wont age due to story purposes.

No, your Hero won't grow older with time just spent sitting around but your child will, and he'll only reach 17 then stops.
