So, I was depressed by the last Bowerstone South Tavern thread I dropped into. (No offense to anyone in it.) Felt the need to make a happy, pointless thread.

So, I've been watching How I Met Your Mother. It's pretty frigging entertaining, at least partially because Alyson Hannigan is in it and ogling her is fun. Anyone else enjoy this show as much as I have been?

It has it's moments. Don't much care for the main characters and his problems and whatnots, but whenever Marshall (or is it Marshal?) and Barney get to interact, hilarity ensues. Like the Slap-a-thon.

Definitely above average as far as sitcoms go these days.

By far.

I watch it, but never really gotten into it, I feel its the same thing over and over again.. Im not really into sitcoms or series, I want to find a really good one, but they always suck by the time they get to like season 4/5 when they run out of ideas..

But I do have all the Big Bang Theory seasons  Hehe.. Sheldon is so funny

I don't watch tv. I don't even have one anymore. Well, I do but it functions only as my pc monitor. And I haven't the slightest idea who Alyson Hannigan is.

Yup.

I'm not much into comedy series. Yes I can watch an episode or two, but season after season just doesn't so it for me.
Unless it's Tower of Druaga, but it only has 20 episodes. (Btw everyone should watch the first episode of Tower of Druaga: Aegis of Uruk)

As the series goes on it goes from Awesome to just Really Great, but still, I love it forever and it's my favourite show on at the moment.

I think the best thing is it's combination of dream sequence style moments with a single camera based sitcom, like a kind of cross between Scrubs and Friends.

Marshall (or is it Marshal?)

It's Marshall, he has two ll's

I never found her that attractive.. But I find it funny that when someone finds a redhead/ginger who is hot, they post a picture of them on f*ckbook and say "Redheads are soooo sexy!?!??lololatwtbbq"

So silly

I like redheads, man. Or rather, Hobbe Junior does. HUEHHEUHEUHUHUEH.

I think Robin (I think her real name is Colbie Smulders?) is hotter than Alyson Hannigan, but dayum, in the first few series I'd say they're on a par, she's even better at some points.

Because that girl in the photo is such a natural redhead.

Puh-lease.

People say they love redheads, but what they actually mean is that they like fake redheads.

You said pretty much exactly this when I was oogling over Karen Gillan (ginger from Doctor Who).

Why do you automatically assume that the redness of their hair is artificial?

Besides, artificial or not, it's still good for me.

If you've ever seen a natural ginger you know they look nothing like she does. Just like how you can spot a fake blonde.

I have a friend who's a natural ginger, the only difference is that her hair is more orangey than Alyson Hannigan's is. And considering in one season of HIMYM she dyes it brown and then for the rest, all 6 seasons, it's ginger again, I'd be willing to say that she's a natural ginge...

She was a redhead when she was Michelle Flarity in American Pie. Makes me think she's a natural.

Never found this show funny. It just never did anything for me. The only sitcom that gets me now is It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
