I could be wrong, but I read that there are only 3 possible weapons that can come out of the Sanctuary chest. Dragonstomper, Chickenbane, and a third one that I can't recall the name of. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is right.

I got the Sandgoose on my first save. Is that the third one?
 
The weapons you get are: Sangoose,Chickenbane,Swinging Sword, and Dragonstomper .48. That is just off the top of my head, I could be wrong.
 
It differs, very much, apparently. If I recall correctly, I got two weapons and two non-weapons. Is that right?? I recall being surpsrised about what I got, in a slightly negative way, with reference to the fact that I had read about people getting 4 weapons. Which then I didn't... Only two weapons and two other things. O_-''

Also, JesterJoe: [*spoiler][/*spoiler] are the spoiler tags. Put your img (ing IMG tags, of course) between them, and save it. Note: Of course the spoiler tags don't contain the *'s, so it's just spoiler /spoiler between brackets. ;)
 
Maybe their is a way you CAN get 4 weapons.

It has been done in other games. Something happens and you receive something, do some sort of trick, reload and you can reopen the chest once more and receive a secondary item.

I ain't so sure.

However I did get a Chicken Bane out of it. SUCKS SO BAD that I don't have XBOX Live.

so would you be able to turn off your xbox and keep trying to get the weapon you want???or does it autosave???

No its the same weapon on every profile, whether you reload or not. You would need a different profile for a different weapon.
 
Had a different profile, new hero. Got the Chickenbane. That's four times now, not including the random Sandgoose I got out of a whim.
