How old can they get?

How old can your child/dog get? Because I would find it awesome to have my avatars teenage son fighting by his side! And also, how old do you think your dog can get?

I could be out of my mind, but I think that he (Molyneaux) said that you wouldn't be able to fight alongside your children, though it would be cool. I don't think he said anything about your kid's aging, but we all hope it does age.

The dog, I don't know that it will age. Or at least not much visibly, except possibly puppy-half size-adult like the Hero in Fable and TLC did child-teen-adult.

Yeah, they was going to have it, or so I've heard, but most countries don't really like violence against kids - in most games, including Fable, kids are either unkillable, unattackable or absent.

I dont think the Dog will age but maybe your Character does.. man they need to make a name for teh Uber Hero

It's the same as rape, amongst other things. Some things just doesn't fit in a computer game....

Well obviously in the beginning theres violence and children die when the bandits invade Oakvale.

not neccessarily, as both the hero and his sister make it out alive, as well as the girl with Rosie, so we don't know for certain that the others didn't either...
but the main thing is they don't show it on screen... you don't actually witness any children being killed... people tend to not like that kind of thing...

But there's a game- BioShock which shows a girl freaking drinking blood. I saw it in a trailer and it looks awesome, not sure if you can kill her though.

I had an idea. Perhaps I could swap the esh of Hobbes for children lol ^_^

if you're referring to the Little Sisters, you cannot kill them... you cannot even hurt them in any way... specifically because they don't want people running around killing or harming children...
I couldn't care less, personally, but if harming children isn't essential to the story of Fable 2 I can see why they'd stay on the safe side and just avoid it...

I believe they did so because it makes it more realistic... and a pixelated child is not a real child... it's not the same thing at all...

but this has nothing to do really with how old children and dogs will be in Fable 2...
I doubt kids will grow much beyond teen years as then you wouldn't see them any more and they wouldn't be as impressionable and cute, which would detract from the "Love" element they're going for...
and I doubt you'll notice the dog age at all...

Even worse-- though it might be fun to hold a gun on your son or daughter to get them to hold still for the talk.

Let's face it, guys. People die in this real world, of all ages. And I think it's time that gaming companies show the true face of war, instead of the action..rather the sacrifices. I just hope fable 2 shows a tainted land, which once was an ancient realm..but now, an urban playing field. Kind oflike how the real world is, it changes over time, you know?
