*sniff sniff* Do I smell a Sony employee behind that article? Hiding over there, behind the text?

Heh.

Nah. Sure Microsoft sucks in just about everything, but they did manage to get a helluva console and grabbing some helluva titles for it. Sure some might've been faulty but eventhough Mircosoft first were a-holes about it, didn't they now let you have it fixed for free? Also, the faulty ones are like... gone. The 'Premium' and 'Elite' versions of the 360 don't have those flaws, but they can get the RROD, but most likely due to abuse.

This article is obviously out to get the 360, for whatever reason

Quite common sense as to why its done so well really. It might have been plagued with problems for some early consoles and the red rings of death will forever tar the 360's name because Microsoft didnt act fast enough or admit there were problems soon enough. However they managed to secure some of the best exclusive titles gaming has ever seen and set themselves up with some major titles over the years and before xmas. Although being the weaker powered console it has never gave an inch and shown that it is capable of pulling of some off the best visuals etc ever seen in gaming.

Also with titles like Bioshock, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Halo 3 and many many more few could argue against its caliber of games.

I think that Microsoft has found the problem and new consoles will not have the same issue. It has been crazy and it's right to wonder why people keep going back. The answer is the same as why they chose it in the first place the best games in the industry.
