How to get both maelstrom and rising sun

Im not sure if this has been posted or not, but I found a way to get both the rising sun and maelstrom on one character.

First you get 2000 loyalty points and then do the ultimate sacrifice, get the maestrom, or you can donate to the light and get the rising sun fist.

Then just do the one that you didnt do first and get that weapon and then you have both.
