How to load a save file?

I have 2 characters, but cannot find out for the love of me on how to load my first character whom was my original character.

I've tried search, but couldn't find anything ahead of time before posting this.

go to the santuary, then on the right side of the room, go to the game setting(next to the hero status) and select the first thing(forgot what it says on it) then select load. it should then bring you to a room with you different heroes displayed on mannequins.

from the sanctuary find the wall thing that looks like gears (its game options) or press the pause menu during a time when it doesnt bring you to the sanctuary. there are three options on the screen, the first one i believe is "game management" and from there you can manually save or load a different save file.
