Re: How Will Women Be Viewed in Fable 2?
This is the post that i wrought out that led me to the question :-

Later, I played Evil and once you get around 3/4-2/3 of the way through, you get everybody to love you" - This was quite different for me. Now in my opinion getting someone to love you for being Evil was harder than getting someone to love you for being Good.
TcoWhite(Good Character)- On this character - in the beggining all i had to do was flirt, perform some poses etc, get gifts and the women was mine. Around 1/3 of completion of the game all i had to do was walk into a bar and these very small love hearts appeared at first.
Between 2/3 of completion of Fable, When i walked back into the same bar i had medium sized love hearts. I was observing all the changed that my character had on everyone. Ocassionally there was the few men with small love hearts - Lol.
Once i had finished the game and continued playing, all i had to do was walk up to a random girl do the flirt expression and she was mine. Another thing i could do was walk into a bar and i would see these Maxmized Love hearts flshing at me. To me it was too easy to get a woman in Fable - too easy being good that is
I suck at naming characters but oh well Lol.
TcoBlack(Evil Character) - On this character - In the beggining as always, i was tormented by many people, i was mocked i was laughed at and i was practically hated for who i was. Now - to me, there were only very few people in the game who actually liked an Evil character, the others just mocked me and neglected me. It was much harder to get a women to like you. Sure i had to do the same expressions but it took much longer to get a girl than it did when i was playing on Tco White.
Between 2/3 of completing the game - I dont know if it's just me but, more people started to hate/neglect me, i also never saw a difference in the hearts - although there were the odd one or two... Whenever i tried to flirt - The women screamed, When i tried to give them a gift - They were crapping it, so as you can see this is the difference of difficulty i can see during my play of Fable : The Lost Chapters.
Finally - I finished the game, and guess what? no difference. The men mocked me, The women neglected me - Hell Even the children hated me! Every time i tried to offer a woman a gift - "Please dont hu-hurt m-me.."
When i tried to flirt - "Plea- Please leave me al-alone..."
So my conclusion i drew from all of it was - Women loved Good, heroic and sexy men, they hated Evil, corrupt and uhh bald men Lol. So to me - i felt it was harder to get a women when i was Evil than when i was Good.

Make it so you actually have to spend a few in-game weeks or months doing things, like buying them gifts, food, taking walks, and just spending time with them, in order to gain their love." Personally i love the idea - we should build up the relationship and then take it further. In otherwords make love a bit more closer to reality but yet keep it Fablish.
"You should actually care a little bit about your wife/husband. Making it harder would help with this, too." I will definatley care about my family and if i have a kid who's a girl - i'll definatley care for her...I may be 14 but i wish i had a young sister Lol, not to help mum or anything
The problem with the above is people are unique, they like and dislike different things, so they could like this aspect of the game or merely pay no attention to it. So the type of person comes into play here.

Fable 1 was ok, but really a wife just meant that there was someone in your home who could make the screen go black with sexual sounds. Sure, some people may like that...but it is a pretty lame reason to want a wife in the game. Ok, so they give you gifts sometimes. Well, that only happened to me once to date, and guess what, the wife gave my fully maxed out character like an iron shortsword...I mean, come on. At least makethe gift useful. What I think there should be, is much more things you can do with your family. How about, assuming your child can age enough to be a young adult, you get to bring your son or daughter along with you on a quest. They will learn from you, such as they will be better at shooting if you are, and, although they may be better at fighting from being your child, you take the risk of them dieing (of course, that's why it could only be if they were grown up). Also, when you return from a long quest, you can bring your child to help them practice their fighting."
I 100% agree with this post and more. I wish that women in Fable 2 arn't looked as "sex machines" more of someone in your life who you can rely on. Basically what i'm trying to say is the only real option of interaction with your wife was "Sex" and that to me basically sucked.
What i believe is that women shouldn't just be looked at with the "Sex" aspect but more of a loving/caring aspect. I want to see more of a "This woman is real" aspect as in she's a real person with feelings. I want to be able to take out my wife to dinner and interact with her a lot more
All of this is just what i think, so please dont flame me Lol
and also another post, this post was more or less about what i think about the World Viewing Girls/women and this is what i truely believe.
To me- the world nowadays are looking at women wrongly, to me i quite like the idea of having a wife. I just dont want it to be like Marriage > Kids> Give food and no more interaction. I want to be able to sometimes treat my wife and kids take them with me out to the forest and let them play around with my dog. a bit like a family outing, but sadly i dont think that will happen in Fable 2 and with the world how it is, i dont think it'll ever happen - this being said i dont take the world in a negative way, i appreciate everything about life, what i dont appreciate is the differences between Man and women and how they're treated and sometimes "used" ( I'm a male myself Lol)

I really like my mates, there are 3 boys and the other 4 being girls, many people in my school in my school are quite immature but to be honest - s 8 stand out above the rest and thats well known throughout the whole of my school.
I thought you were getting at about "No-one flaming me" but i was just wondering Lol.

Lol I kid, but yea I agree that more people should start treating all races, gendres, etc. like they would their own. I have never liked the GTA games, and I sure voice my opinion about my strong dislike of them (although I'm not going all Jack Thompson on all of it lol). I'm surprised both of you understood what my essay was about. Too many games lack interaction and think more along the lines of, "SEX! SEX! CLEAVAGE! SEX!" lol Not to continue on ranting forever, but I think that games should learn from games like Morrowind, Oblivion (both vanilla versions only), and hopefully Fable 2, because they don't have the super uber female platemail that covers 1/10 of their body. I mean, it confuses me...do the enemies just get so excited that they miss the impossible-to-miss areas or does imaginary armor exist?"
My Post :- I have played Gta, saw it, played it, scrapped it. Loved the storylines and gameplay possibilities. Didn't like the look of the women and i also didn't like the whole "I'm dead! oh well i just lose $10" aspect of the game.
I definatley see where your coming from and i strongly agree that women should be thought better of, sure we're guys we like girls, but thats why god made us, not so we can go look at a girl and start thinking "Sex! Sex!" but more of "That girls quite pretty"
I've never really gone in depth about how i feel about how women should be looked at but thats because the issuse didn't arrise until now Lol
But right now i'm still not going in depth about how i feel about the whole "Family thing"
I'm 14 and have great ambitions, desires and dreams and i hope one day i'll put all of them to reality and change everything. You may be thinking "What can one guy do?" the anwser to that is - Everything, if he puts his mind to it. I dont totally devote myself but then again the odd times i do back up a few girls here and then but meh
