Huge sound issue/bug
I have been tearing my hair out over this issue and have not been able to play the game. At first when I had Fable 2 I had absolutely no issues. I didn't play it for a while and when I went back, the sound was buggy and broken. I have scoured the internet for a solution and no one else seems to have heard of this issue. I even work for an EB Games store and asked my Xbox 360 rep - he had no idea either.
Basically when I play the game, the voice acting is so low I have to turn my sound way up to even hear it (making me jump out of my chair at every extra-loud 'plink' that comes from someone logging on). Even when it's turned up, the sound isn't smooth and perfect. The first five words of the sentence will play without issue then the sound will drop out for a few seconds then come back in again after, missing whatever was said in between. The music is also very low but more audible than the voice acting.
I've tried playing from the hard drive and from the disc, flushing the cache, playing with and without the update and different sound systems. I've been through a few copies of the game (both limited edition and regular edition) and now I'm trying on a completely different xbox 360 and it has the same issue. I figured it wasn't with the disc when every disc I tried had the same issue and that it was a system issue. Trying it on other systems has proven even that to not be the case.
Any suggestions? Any one else have this problem? Or read about it on another forum? Google has failed me on this one! I really do want to play the game, but not with broken sound. Any suggestions are appreciated a thousand fold.
