Hunters in Halo

Hunters in Halo

Do you think they are Elites, or Brutes i mean master cheif could be in the pile of orange goo and I'd never know the difference
what does every one think is under there?

A whole new enemy is under there, they are not Brutes Or Elites they are something entirely different.

its a type of covenant ALONG with Grunts and Elites however it would make a scary flood. Imagine 100 of those bursting through a door and trying to latch onto your face

Yeah that would scare the **** out of me. I've been waiting for them to be flood. As well as grunts. I would think the flood would infest anything. Soo I'm hoping for more flood types in 3.

More Flood types have been spoken about ;)

Hope they are used more effectively in Halo 3, as they have potential!

Im hoping for more types of aliens we have Grunts Brutes Elites Hunters Flood (all 3 types included) but after my 130th time killing a Grunt with the blunt side of my smg i knew there should be more in 3

Gah, I know what you mean :rolleyes: When I was showing Maria how to play, I told her: "Don't bother wasting your amo on those little things. Smash 'em :sly:"
I'm sure there'll be something new. The brutes were in the second one.

Jackals, waste of space unless they are in numbers i either hit them or throw frag between them all.

Yes but jackles make a funny noise and once one of did a full backflip when i hit him in the face with my smg

hehe... they're worms...:D

Rather than being built similarly to the other Covenant species with an endoskeleton and central nervous system, Hunters are actually sentient beings made up of a conglomerate colony of orange symbiotic worms.

Jackals remind me of the dog i never had anyway sure my dog probably wouldnt shoot me with an alien beam rifle but hey

Got to have the 'cannon fodder' though to massacre before you get into decent battles.

:lol: Worms, makes them seem weaker somehow.... cant run from a worm!

Yeah and anythings worth shooting with the one giant beam having mind block the one you need a banshee to fly up and get gun.

Wow. Lots of replies.

I like wasting my amo on grunts. Nothing like crouching in a corner and taking out each grunt that runs wildly out of the door you just threw a grenade into.

and jackals Do not like being hit by their own weapons :ninja: It stuns them.
They also have this little flaw in their shield that lets me snipe them out. Heehee.

Hunters are worms huh? They look so cool though. That would explain why they die so easily when you shoot them in their..orange..ness.

EDIT: i know what flood is its those infestation things that take over the alians and humans! there gross and hrad to kill ><
