Hunting in Fable III

I like this idea.

It would be a 'job' of sorts, unlike the ones from Fable II.

Basically, you could hunt deer, or other wildlife (I am sure Albion has a creature similar) and collect the food off of them, and sell it for profit.

Maybe I only like it, but it seems interesting. I always liked hunting Rabbits and Birds in Fable II, and blasting them with my gun. I liked watching in fields around Oakfield, hunting for rabbits.

Boy won't I have a time in Fable III, my Dog will CHASE the animals, which I can shoot. Like it should be.

Hunting would be cool, in my opinion. But I am smart enough to know not everyone thinks alike, and that not everybody wants the same thing.

But hunting, and selling the food for profit sounds cool to me.

In a sense that would be like creature drops... fable 2 didn't have any and fable just had gold and stuff.
Hunting is really fun but it wouldn't fit in the Fable gameplay. Fable never really showcased it's wildlife...
And I know its a great idea, I've been playing Red dead Redemption and I just go on for hours and hours hunting and skinning animals. But it just wouldn't work in fable...

Err... it wouldn't be a very profitable profession. Now, if you were to be a fur trapper then yes, you might be able to make a pretty penny. Since I don't see that as a possibility in Fable III, I have no thoughts on the subject.

Fable isn't about hunting animals. Its supposed to be a nice world! you wouldn't just go around slaughtering animals for money.

Ironic how PETA gave Fable 2 an award for being the kindest game to animals, If You get to Shoot/butcher animals in Fable 3 I bet they'd take everything they said right back.

Nevermind them. I always liked the idea, I think PM said something about adding more wildlife to the game. Or something.

he did, but he's adding more animals to make the world look more full and less empty, besides I would be more busy running my kingdom than murdering innocent creatures.

But great idea though, it could a replacement of the assassination contracts in fable II, because I doubt a ryler would be able to carry out such a sleathy mission, what with everyone recognising him or her.

Christ, why is everyone against hunting?

Animals killing Animals for food, no problem with that.

It happens EVERY day in the real world.

Besides, we have regulations, and they are only killed for food and other tings (like Urine, which can then be used to cloak a human's scent).

For sport? Like poaching? No way dude, I do not like that at all. UNLESS it is Legal and all. I mean, if people say they hunt Deer for sport, they don't, they hunt it for meat... they think it's sport, but it ain't sport to eat.

Can't really say I have anything against hunting, It is how we've evolved afterall.

We wouldn't have got anywhere in our early days hunting for twigs and berries. Plus most of them probably would have been poisonous anyway, (too much fruit n veg gives You the squits) whereas meat is a much more reliable source of nutrients.

The Fable world is what you make it, so hunting could be included as an act of curruption.

you should go buy that game, cause I don't think Lionhead is about to do a hunting job and include it in fable III - you can hunt online in freeroam, that is, if you actually find a guy who won't imidiatly try to shoot you on sight...
