Sometimes, only sometimes, do I feel proud to be Scottish. And this is one of those instances.
Us Scots have come to naming a hurricane, Hurricane Bawbag. The name's been spread via Twitter and Facebook. It can be read all about here.

For all you non-Scots that is how us fine, well spoken Scots pronounce 'ball bag'. And you all know what that is. Oh yes.

So far, all that's been affected on my end is my internet connection. Herp de derp.
I honestly cannot tell you how many tear filled laughs I am getting from this. Viva la Scotland.
"Here he comes! Hurricane Baaaaawbaaaaag! I'm ready for ye!"

My P.E teacher was very proud of his ballbag and showed it to us students constantly.

But I.... I really do have trouble understanding the accent. :(

It's like a foreign language. 0.o However that doesn't mean I don't like it, its like the coolest accent in all the lands. However it did set me back when talking to hotel/restaurant staff in scotland...

Ordering an Irn Bru had never been so damn difficult.

I didn't have much trouble understanding this guy, but yea, with some Scottish people, it can get pretty bad, like those damn gargoyles in Fable 2. Deciphering what they were trying to say half the time was just hopeless.
