i cant find salty jack

im doing the treasure island of doom quest i got all the treasure but i cant find salty jack and there isnt a glowing trail

He should be there when you come back from the boat.
If you didn't come back from the boat, go towards the cave you had to enter.
If he's not there, your game glitched.

To reiterate: if he's not outside the entrance to the cave, then you've game's glitched.

As soon as you have come off the boat he should be there congratulating you, otherwise your game has glitched
