Well, my VCE (high school) results became available a couple of hours ago. For anybody interested (god knows why you would be), here they are.

My ENTER score is 62.60, which means that I did better than 62.6% of the state.

It's not really anything to shout about, but I thought you guys might want to know, plus I really just enjoy talking about myself.

When I got it, the first thing my mum said to me was

"Imagine what you could have done if you had studied."

We both laughed because thats the exact same thing that her mum said to her.

What's ACT? The VCE is basically your high school diploma. You get a score at the end of it all to sum up how well you did, and that's called an ENTER Score (it's an acronym for something) and it's what you need to have if you want to go into University. Different courses require different scores. Eg, a standard teaching course requires an enter of about 50, whilst a full medical course would probably require >95. It varies from institution to institution, not to mention the type of course.

They basically score you out of 50 for each subject you do, add the top four (one of which must be English), and take ten percent from any other subject. With that score, they then compare you to every oither student in the state, and work out a percentage for how many people you beat. In my case, I did better than 62.60% of the rest of the state.
