I killed Barnum before the quest what do i do?

I killed barnum before i started the quest to get the bridge to bowerstone back..... is there any way to do the quest or bring him back from the dead or something like that?

And Lol, on my first play through i didnt give barnum 5000. I ended up quite fine. And lol, if you killed him, i wonder if he can somehow come back again to be killed by Reaver.
