I need some advice...

Hey guys...to acquire an Xbox 360, my sister and I have decided to pool our money together, we have enough to buy, a 360 core system, a second controller, and 2 games...but, since most of the money is my sisters, shes claiming the Xbox is HERS, so it will go in HER room, but I will be able to play too...the thing is...I can't really trust her...so...I was wodering, if I should just save up my own money and buy a 360 for myself. What should I do?

well if most of the money is hers then the system would be mostly hers... but she can't really say it's hers alone since she needs your money to buy it...
if the system is all hers then the controllers and the games must be all yours... see how she likes that :devil:

but I would really recommend just getting your own

Depends how long your willing to wait and if you want to miss out on a couple of months/weeks playing games like Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Bioshock and Halo 3 and wait until xmas to get one. Id put some money towards it so i could play those games, then wait until i got my own at xmas or when id saved money and then claim a controller and maybe a game as your part of her console and she can keep the rest.

Well...I don't think I'd be able to wait a few months to play those games...maybe I'll just convince her to let me play it more...and she already said she might not play it as much since she plays WoW.

Get your own. Will just cause too much prolems. For example, she might kick you off it at will, and when you complain;

Parent(s); "Well, she did pay most of it..."

I know how siblings can be - get your own. :thumbsup:

If there is a place that you both can play it it should be placed there. I would get my own if you can or at least hold out until you can go 50/50 that way she can't say it's hers. Either that or do what Hex said and keep the controllers :lol:

well...another problem has been brought up...my brother wants to move out by the end of the scool year, and ill be having his old room, in the basement...big room tho. and if i do pool money together, i dont wanna neeed to walk all the way up stairs just to play the 360 thats in her room, so...if i get a job soon, i might as well get my own, and she has enuff for her own anyway, so she shouldnt complain if i bail on her.

Its up to how long you can wait. I'd probably add up the money, but I would be smart and get myself a strong position. If she mostly buys the console, then you buy the memory unit or hardrive that you'll need. And before you ask, its for if you get the core system, the damn unit doesn't come with anything to save game memory so if you get the MU or HD then you'll have as equal position as her and she'll have to work things out fairly.

I think I'd like to keep my kidney thanks.
I'll probably just save it up. Since I'm a greedy ******* and want one for myself. Though I REALLY want a 360 now.

Well, if it takes long to save up the money you can buy the games probably a little cheaper^^ (And buy the Preimum, for gods sake!)

Pssh, I would but I sold both of my kidneys, my liver, and a gall bladder a few years back. Wait, can you live without a kidn-*drops dead*

Whoo-hoo he's finally down, though not in the way I fashioned, but still...yeah!

I don't think Premium is a good idea, that'd take way too long. I don't usually offer my services, but seeing you are supposedly a friend...if you allow me to kidnap your sister, I get the parents to hock up whatever money you need. Of course, any mention of my name or who I could be would lead to the swift and painful demise of...My Pet Aligator, who would end up choking on your sister. Hahahaha!
