I swear fate itself is against me!
Why do I say that, you ask? Because every time something good comes along my way, something bad has to happen to ruin it all. This time around it's when I tried playing FFXI on my 360. Apparently some nasty glitch went through a recent patch, and the whole game is effed up. I was able to download the game and play it for a short time up until I gave myself a rest and exitied to the dashboard. Of course once I wanted to get back on, the disc was getting refused everytime i tried to play it. I kept getting error messages telling me that the disc could not be read and I had to reinstall the game. So I ended having to format my damn HDD and reinstall, only to have the same damn thing happen to me again. I'm not the only one, either. Anyone playing the game on the 360 can't play without trouble. I just wish I knew about it sooner as it could have saved me a world of dissapointment.
Crap like this is always happening to me. I have the kind of luck that will give you a lollipop, only to take it away from you just after one little lick. Then it smacks you in the face with said lollipop and takes a whiz on your shoes. It's enough to drive any man insane. Or at least have a lot of hate for life and its circumstances.
I apologize for such a stupid rant, but I needed to get it out of my system and no one was around to listen.
