I want a F***ing staff

A staff could replace Melee Weapons for pure will users. With a staff we could augment will powers. A staff can make will energy stronger, faster, and stuff...
A pure will user would use a staff to increase will power, and own. A Staff could have several augment slots and have special,will augments which could be specific to a spell. A blades augment could increase the amount of blades that come out of the spell, adding one extra blade. A raise dead augment, could change the type of ressurected monsters you get, an inferno augment could have a burn afffect on your enemies and set them on fire... and other stuff... I'd really like to augment my will powers, and have a weapon that goes with will powers...

There already is a staff in the F2 DLC. (If I remember right, you get it from the Box of Secrets shop on Knothole Island). Doesn't augment will powers, as I remember, but it looks suitably magic-y.

But yes, I do think that something more... effectual magic-wise would be cool, even if the game's Will-users haven't shown any need for them previously.

Yea i did remember the One staff. I've actually used it though... how do you use it, i cant really check it out cuz somethings wrong with my xbox...

Like any other melee weapon. I didn't really like it much, mostly because I prefer big 'ol axes.

I'd love to see staffs in Fable 3, but not just one. They should be just like any other melee weapon in the sense that there is a rusty, iron, steel, and master version of it (or whatever they might change it to in Fable 3), and a legendary one.

I also don't really see how a staff would be a weapon specific to Will users. It seems to me that any kind of warrior could use one.

I also like the idea of being able to use augments that affect Will powers, but I feel that they should be able to be bound to any weapon, not just a staff, since I don't think staffs are very specific to Will users.

Well, a if a stuff could have other purposes, then i guess a will specific staff is what i want. It would replace melee weapons for will users. BUt there should be will based weapons anywya... a will gun would be cool. Like gun that channels will into a gun so that it can shoot fireballs, or lightning.

^ agreed. i think this idea isn't that bad. the staff in the box of secrets is cool-looking, but it is still pretty useless in combat if youre a pure mage that doesnt want to be hulk hogan in stature. if the staff was added as a new type of weapon, i would actually become a mage, i think. provided you could use spells, not physique, to increase their power.
