I want a xbox suggestions plz

Ok. I don't own a xbox and it is my favorite console for Fable.

However i'm at my counsins house for a month and she has one. I offered to buy it or "take it off her hands" but she won't budge.All she keeps it for is a DVD player that she has 3 of and to play kareoke revolution .
(some chick game) but, she hasn't touched it in forever.
Any suggestoins on how to "get" it?:O

well... perhaps you being poor is why she refused your offer to buy it in the first place... she probably knew you couldn't afford it...
how about trading something for it... the good old barter system

Why don't you just stop bugging her, get a job, maybe mow some lawns or something, and then buy a used one off E-Bay. They sell for like $75, and you obviously have a computer to use. Go with my idea, it involves less arguing and it will build some character, and maybe make you a little less lazy and a little less "poor".

If your cousin won't budge after bartering, crying, begging and emotional blackmail, then you may just have to go with Freak's suggestion and get yourself a little job - or ask for money for your birthday and stuff like that. If you can't find an xbox on Ebay that you like the price of, go to somewhere like Amazon or Play where they have traders who offer consoles at a great discount. And if you are going for an xbox, may as well make it the 360.

If you live in the US try GameStop. They will also have a used Xbox or ten. If you can gather up the cash for a 360 then definitely go for that, like Angel said. The regular Xbox will be much cheaper obviously.

Getting a job might as well be the best as if she we won't give in now, then she won't give in then. Besides, even if you got the Xbox, you obviously don't have games for it and since you probably spent your money for the box, you won't have any for games.

Yeah, I think it's unanimous: get a job! So long as you're over fourteen (I'm too lazy to look in your profile and check) SOMEWHERE will hire you. The library I work at starts hiring people for certain positions at 14, fast food places will hire you, I think a couple amusement parks will hire you for food stuff, mowing lawns works (hell, I made twenty-dollars-a-cutting/week doing my grandparents' lawn before I got a real job/they moved to a retirement apartment-thing), just look around and you vcan find a bunch of places to give you money.

And if you work your *** off, you can make a lot in a short time then quit, ready to run out and bankrupt yourself again buying an XBox, though I'm not sure why you would. Quit, that is.

You can get to old for that? I never will, im constantly asking for stuff on xmas. Granted i dont ask for as many things but your presents get fewer but more expensive items as you get older :lol:

[Snicker] Yeah, I still type up my Christmas/Easter/Birthday wishlists every year. These days there're just a hell of a lot more books and videogames on them, and a lot fewer things made by Matchbox, Playskool, and Mattel.

Go with mine, and the other 6 peoples suggestions... GET A JOB! It will help you in the long run and in the short run. Unless you are one of those people who think they don't need a job and can just loot and pillage the coasts just as my Viking ancestors did... Oh how I miss the 7th century.

Think of it this way, if you get a job you can get enough money for an Xbox, a hotel room, and some hookers and blow! You can never go wrong with hookers and blow!

the prolem isn't that she doesn't have a DvD player she has 3 its just that shes stingy. BTW whoever it was that dind't look on my profile i'm 14.And there is no local resturanuts where i live.

No fast food joints? No libraries? No pools? (Sometimes they'll hire 14-year old lifeguards) Trust me, you can find a job. All you need to do is ask around. You will need a work permit (If you live in the US, and at least I think it's a federal requirement and not a Maryland state requirement) but you can pick that up in any high school's Guidance department. Maybe even a middle school's.
