I want to buy furniture! (...Damn economy)

Whenever I visit the World of Chairs store in Bowerstone Market there always out of bloody stock! I am a hero of standard who simply wants to flesh out his home with top-quality furniture. Now I understand there may be a dip in the economy (funny how virtual life can reflect reality...) and I need sum top tips of how to put the wind back in the sails of the ever-changing economic boat. It's driving me nuts not having the luxury of buying furniture for my humble abode.

selling little items all over the place - whether it's potions, jewelry, or food - seems to help boost the economy. Doesn't necessarily have to be furniture you're selling.

Do alot of jobs in Bowerstone...well blacksmith.
And buy lots of stuff from everyone and buy shops and lower prices...
thats what i did.
And the economy is so crazy.
And its gonna be forever until I can save up to buy the Pub in the Town Square.

On another hand, you may be experiance a now widely known glitch. If Bowerstone Market's economy is 5 stars, the ONLY item that will EVER be stocked (No matter how long you wait) is a book. If you see just this book, you actually have to lower your economy to purchuse things at that store again.

hmmm...see i also have this problem, the store only sells a book and no furniture...so you are saying this is a glitch and i have to raise my prices at my shops? i am trying to be good so all my prices are -20%

Re: I want to buy furniture! (...Damn economy)

Wow thanks Turnpike! I wasn't aware that it was a widely known glitch, guess I'm a little slow. Ha, love the reverse psychology of having a booming economy yet STILL not being able to buy the damn furniture, took ages to get it back up to speed had to buy out the whole area, lower the prices and what-have-you. I eventually sold them all back, so any tips on how to send the economy back in a downward spiral...without being corrupt and raising all the prices? I'm desperate for some furniture!
