Re: IGN Aus Interviews Peter Molyneux about Fable 3

I've read the whole thing but there's a lot to keep track of..
They talk a lot about being a king, a passive or active king.
Like King Richard Lionheart going to the middle east on a crusade while King John tried to usurp him back in England and Robin Hood as a rebel.

Peter also talks about Amman in Jordan, the two brothers and says that's almost a spoiler, might look into that ^_^

Peter says reknown also play a big role, say you aren't reknown enough and the people will start an uproar, maybe with some pitchforks and burning stakes?

+ rep for posting this Hobbes

i just read it myself thanks +rep! yes i was suprised how much info PM revealed to IGN aus. I was expecting him to repeat himself. It is interesting about the politics and basing the story on real life kings and queens. I would like to see stories based on doings of Wanli Emporer, Nero or Mary Antoinette

Re: IGN Aus Interviews Peter Molyneux about Fable 3

+rep to both of you - hobbes for posting it and simon cause im too tired to read it myself LOOL. however, you might wanna put it into spoiler brakets.

Re: IGN Aus Interviews Peter Molyneux about Fable 3

Is it me or did PM just hint that Fable III would have natal. I could be wrong and it might be a different motion sensor thing but you never know. I hope its not all motion sensor. I like that but I want to use the controller for a lot of the game.

It could be compatible for both controller and motion.

Richard the Lionheart was never that great a king. In his entire reign he only spent six months in England.

Re: IGN Aus Interviews Peter Molyneux about Fable 3

You don't have to spend time in your country to be a great king. The only reason he was away was to fight the crusades. He did better than other kings as he managed to make a peace treaty with saladin.

Saladin had no plans to attack Britain. He should have spent more time worrying what was going on with his own people.

Attacking Britain? Richard made the peace treaty so christians who came to the holy land weren't killed. Google this before you post. And are you a monarch that has the problem of making sure everything in your home country went smoothly and also has to fight wars? No your not. Which is why Richard had john to rule england in his stead. A bad choice but he had no other

I know what the treaty was for. What I meant by my comment was that Richard did a great deal for others but not for the people he was actually in place to rule.

Fighting for others in a foreign policy is noble but he could have focussed more on his own kingdom then he actually did.

This is my theory and he says he is going to make a new RPG sub-genre, im sure this genre's main difference will be touch, but you can use the controller at the same time. I laugh how they had to cut most of it out, since he started talking about Milo

Re: IGN Aus Interviews Peter Molyneux about Fable 3

Yeah, this sounds interesting.

And... it could almost have been a hint at Natal, but until we have something more I'm going to go with their outright denial.
