Depends on if you completed the game, yet. In this case, I assume you do. The way to become good, is to buy shops and rent out houses, with low prices. Give the money you gain to the treasury, and get even more morality.

Apparently money makes you instantly good if you donate to the Treasury out of your own personal funds. :-/

I became evil by simply letting my character stand still for a couple of hours in Bowerstone Market, and know no matter what I do, I can't increase my mortality. This is the second time something like this happened in Bowerstone Market. The first time I just my character there, and everyone in the town hated me. That is some kind of crazy if you ask me.
