Im going to the lakes!

Im going in 1 hour, so I wanted to tell you so you didn't wonder where I was.

I'll be gone for 2 days, it's snowing up there!

It's for my brothers birthday, Which was yesterday but we couldent go to the lakes cause we were working and at school.
I'll respond to people when I get back, and hopefully there'll be more fable news :lol:

Yeah, have fun wherever you are. I vote you go swimming in these lakes. Since it seems to be cold, remember to break the ice first, and bring lots of hot chocolate. And prepare for big-time shrivel factor, unless you're of the feminine persuasion, in which case you have other issues, on different portions of your body, though perhaps not as uncomfortable.

And yeah... I'd really go to Russia for 1 day wouldn't I?


It's the great lakes in Tasmania I went to, I'll be putting up a photo soon, just as I find that dang USB thats hiding around the house...
It's one of the biggest lakes in the world.

I dident go swimming, hell no!
Way to cold... But we did see 3 deers around our car, they were huge!

I just went to Google maps... there's a Tasman New Nealand, and a Tasmania Australia. The Australia one is far enough south that it could conceiveably be pretty damn cold... I think. But the NZ one looks to be about the same, and I've never thought of either of them as particularly cold... They did both have some lakes, though...

So what's up, Druid? Are they cold just cause they're within however many hundred miles of Antarctica, or are we talking about the wrong places, or what?

Snow in Australia?

It doesn't look promising that there is actually snow in Australia now nor that there was a lake on the mountains.
