I'm seriously about to kill myself over this
Ok, so there's a long version and a short version.
Long version:
Short version:
All my netwrok, sound and USB drivers keep dying on me, and I think it's got something to do with my iphone, but not iTunes. I've reinstalled windows a couple of times, but it keeps happening.

Long version:
About two weeks ago I had to completely restore my iPhone. With it being jailbroken, there was a little issue, so I backed up my shsh on Saurik's server, restored to 3.1.3, downgraded and rejailbroke. The only problem is that my phone now won't make calls. I try again, and after I restore (but before I downgrade) I notice that I can make calls. I realize this is because during the process my phone isn't activating. I did some quick Internet research and realize that I didn't downgrade properly. So I try to downgrade properly this time, except halfway through the process my computer decides to stop recognizing my phone through the USB.
I do some more research and find out that it may be because the phones drivers clapped out for some reason, so I decide to manually reinstall them from the iTunes pack. Bad move. After restarting all of my network drivers, sound drivers and USB drivers aren't working. I try reinstalling them: absolutely no effect. The device manager thinks they're up to date, bu they've all got little yellow exclaimation signs next to them. I thought droded it and did a complete rebuild of my machine. I formatted the system drive and reinstalled windows. When I get my computer rebuilt to the stage where I can try iTunes/iPhone restore thing again, I do. The exact same thing as before. I tried reinstalling iTunes completely, same thing. All of the aforementioned drivers are ****ed up.
In the meantime, I've decided to try and fix my iPhone on another computer, Downgrading it properly and rejailbreakng it. Everything went ****ing perfectly, and my phone is almost back to it's original state.
Now, you would assume that without iTunes around to rape my computer, I wouldn't get the driver problem. Guess what? You would be wrong. After doing a completely fresh reinstall of windows, and after a routine restarting after some updates, iTunes hasn't even been touched yet, the same drivers as before **** up. My iPhone was plugged in, so I'm thinking that still has something to do with it, but iTunes wasn't anywhere to be seen this time.
I'm on my freshly rebuilt computer now, trying to not plug in an iphone or touch the itunes setup, and I'm going to see what happens.
