I'm stumped.

sound isn't working on my computer. except when i run sound test, then i can hear the sound test noises. nothing else, including local music and games, works. I am really stumped, I had tried headphones and speakers in all jacks, and i have made sure everything is plugged in, i have checked sound drivers, i made sure volume is all the way up. i check device manager for any problems. I even tried usb headphones in all jacks please help!

I posted this on yahoo answers too, this is really bugging me, it didn't happen after i messed with or installed anything, it just happened.....

How long have you had the issue? Can you not do a system restore to a time when it worked and see if that fixes it?

I think about 2-3 weeks.

Have you tried the system restore option? Have to check when your last system checkpoint was.

Haha not needed, i got my nerd uncle on it, its good now could you delete this or lock it?
