Impossible to get married or make someone love me! HELP!!!!!!!!!

Ok.. here it goes..

I can get a villager up to neutral.. almost all to the right.. Then i get the quest.. When I do it 2 things happen:
1) it accepts it and falls even more down on neutral and i have to work on it again
2) the quest stops and i have to do it all over again..

this is making veeeeery mad as i really want a kid to open the demon door (and i don't want to adopt)

as you can see if i cant move up i simply can't get them to love me, marry me and have sex and kid.. so what on earth can i do????????

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
I have no idea whats going on. I've had it go down after working to get it high but its only happened with my kids a few times. I guess if you cant get married and have a kid with someone in your town you could get married and have a kid with someone on XBL.
 
i'm playing another one now and i saved eliot.. did the kidnap quest and hopefully soon i'll see him again.. hopefully this one (already in love mode) will mary me..

If you wait too long to complete a relationship quest after receiving it then the villager's relationship rating (e.g. neutral, friend, etc.) will not progress to the next level. If you're just at neutral then you should be getting courier and fetch quests, so I'm not sure how they just stop. Try going to the sanctuary, pulling up your quest list, and making sure the relationship quests are there. Sometimes you have to hang around the issuing villager to receive an item, or simply wait for them to shut up, before the quest really triggers. If it is there then set it as your target and fast travel to it.

If none of that helps you, go to Lionhead's website and report the glitch.
 
Did you buy the chests to do the family/marriage or even friends? you have to progess further on the road to rule and you'll unlock the chests to advance relationships.
 
i have all the chest and yes i do the quests.. and really really fast.. I have noooooo idea why... i started a new game and saved eliot so i married him.. I haven't tried to do it on the second playthrough with anyone else and i don't think that i will as i did everything in the game.. (i only miss some keys, gnomes, books and 2 flowers but i don't really care-i don't collect the weapons or any of the other stuff ex. achievements and well.. i'm tooooo bored to start a 3rd game just to get the brothel and mines of aurora.. maybe later on after i play fable TLC and fable 2 game of the year (i really want those 2 plus areas :D )

it's wierd though right??
 
Yeah. well when/if ya start a newgame add me i could use a partner :P OMG Its Logan is the gt
