Insomniac Goes Multiplatform with EA

Independent studio Insomniac Games has announced a publishing deal for its 'new franchise' with Electronic Arts

The "all-new franchise" will be headed to PS3 and Xbox 360 making it Insomniac's first multiplatform release. The developer is known for series such as Spyro the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank and Resistance.

The new as-yet-unnamed game will be based on a brand new universe and is currently in the works at the company’s Burbank studio. "Working with EA Partners allows us to extend the reach of our games to a multiplatform audience while retaining ownership of the intellectual property,” said Insomniac founder and CEO Ted Price. “We are excited and eager to introduce Insomniac to a new group of gamers while reinforcing to our loyal fans what makes our games special.”

EA have taken over the world it seems but if it means getting some more good titles on my 360 then im all for it.
