Interesting observations...
I noticed something last night when I was following up on the Lady Gray quests I wanted to share to see if anyone else had noticed this...
I read here in these fine threads how, if you want to get all the silver keys and legendary weapons (as I surely did), you need to marry Lady Gray, or at least court her to the point of
so I did that and married her. I then chose to follow up on the

Well, when I got back to Bowerstone North, I talked to the guard flunky out in front of the shop there, and he mentioned he's never seen Lady Gray so down before, and asked what I'd said to her... So, not seeing her around, I hoofed it on up to the mayor's pad and took a look to see if she was hiding inside. Sure enough, she was in her bedroom, so I thought I'd see what she'd do if I tried to talk to her.
This is where it got interesting...
We all know the yellow rings above our wives heads are there to show us easily which of the otherwise unremarkably similar women we've chosen as our wives, yes? But they also apparently serve another purpose... It would appear they also are a visual indicator of the status of our marriage. The gold ring above Lady Gray's head was really faint when I went in to speak with her, though she still had the sappy "I really love you" voice going on. I started with the gifts and expressions (she really digs the manly arm pump and heroic posing, BTW), and not only did the gold ring get brighter, she also
