Is kind of getting angry with Fable II

Okay so I have that wonderful terrific I can't move anywhere glitch. I have literally tried everything I could think of. I proceeded to search every post on this site and Google as well as Wikipedia for help. Everyone kept saying HEY USE THE SPADE, so I did, but nothing happened. I tried changing quests, changing locations several times, and I've used the spade at least 500 times to try to fix the issue. I can move while holding down LT and I can use the D-Pad for expressions as well as being able to excess the pause menu which I have button mashed, and clicked on everything several times. Nothing works. Does anybody have any OTHER ideas on what might have helped them? PLEASE. If not, bye bye Fable II, I loved you so much but I am not redoing 200+ hours of life wasting to get where I am.

where abouts are you stuck... explain the glitch a bit more... otherwise i think you willl have to start again....

I had finished the Crucible, and was informed of my ten year trek to the spire, which I already knew about. I figured I would go tie up some loose ends before heading to the spire.

I used fast travel to head to Bowerstone to check on my properties and gain a little extra gold. Got there, and things were working fine. I fast traveled to the shooting range to try and get first place and failed a couple times, when I got sick of it I fast traveled back to Bowerstone for the slave rescue mission.

When I arrived back in Bowerstone I couldn't move unless I held down the Left Trigger, but there needed to be a character nearby to lock onto, otherwise I would be unable to move. I went and searched high and low on google and this site and found information about this glitch with the same side effects. It said that if you use your spade and dig you'd be okay. Now I did that with no problem. I still can't move. I tried button mashing, taking the game out, washing the game, everything I could think of, I switched controllers. I fast traveled to all the locations I could think of and used the spade in all of them. I changed main quests. Nothing that was mentioned seems to work. I was hoping that their might be another option other than restarting and losing 200+ hours of work.

Take off all your clothes and dig. I'm not saying it'll work, it just helps.

Serious Answer: Try starting a new character, do you have the same problem? If you do then I'm not sure what to do. If you live near a Game shop then get the disk cleaned, it might help. Try random stuff.

If you don't have the same problem, go back onto your main and try random stuff again. If all seems bad, I guess you could ask someone to transfer your stuff onto your new character and I'm afraid you'll have to start again.

Starting over is not that bad, as long as you have friends that are nice.
My Xbox 360 broke, and I didn't want to wait 6 weeks for a damn transfer kit, so I started each and every game over. I had 3 characters with everything complete, every weapon, item (includes the infamous Bandit Boots and High rollers coat), legendary (even the wreckager) weapons, everything! But now I have it all again on all three characters.

By the way the three characters are, One Good, One Evil, and A Female (haha)

Twilight, I know you like rushing everything with getting it done in mind and not stopping to marvel at everything else that's in a game or thinking about different aspects or options in a game but funnily enough, we're not all like that.

As for the glitch, if you need a target to lock onto in order to move, couldn't you turn safety off and aim at a villager and move to break the glitch or does it simply stop you from moving afterwards? Or maybe you could reload the last save when you became immobile or did you save afterwards?

You don't have any saves? The spade doesn't work for me either.
