Is this possible?

I'm just curious...

Is there any way to get to Hook Coast or Witchwood before the quests to get to them? I know there isn't actually in the game, but glitches or exploits or something?

And, is there any way to get quickly get lots of renown? Not on a quest?

See, the reason I'm asking is because at the beginning of Fable, before you go to kill the Wasp Queen, there are three other side quests. But you can't take them becuase:
1. Two are in Witchwood, one is in Hook Coast.
2. You need more renown.
Do you see what I'm trying to do? So, any help?

You cant do them. there not REAL quests..i dont even think there finished. so no, you cat take the quests no mmatter what.

Have you tried? What happens when you take them? And I instinctively distrust anyone with atrocious spelling, so how do you know?

u cant take the quests b/c they are blak and when u try and take them nothing happens actually i think a small phrase comes up saying ur rep or w/e its called is not high enough or something like that

I'm not insulting you, but how do you know they aren't real? Have you tried?

Yes, that's because.. Your renown is not high enough. It can happen with any quest. So what you should do... is raise your renown.

I'm sure if you used the search function, you would find the many threads already in these forums which clearly detail from the game code level up how these quests are fake, how you can't ever possibly take them, and how they are meant solely as a means to make you feel as if you're entering a 'world in progress' and competing against other heroes ahead of you.

And my spelling is very good. Trust is not something for the frivolous.

Look, it says you can't except them because your renown is not high enough. This is not a special message, it can happen with any quest. This doesn't mean they don't exist, it just means that YOUR RENOWN IS NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO TAKE THEM.
But if you... What?
"Raise your renown!"
Then you can... What?
"Take the quest!"
But you can't raise your renown because... What?
"The only other quest is for the Wasp Queen! And after you take that, the quests are gone!"
So you should... What?
"Use a glitch or mod to get lot's of renown!"
Right, jhoward! We'll make a not-fool of you yet.

I'm sure if you used the search function, you would find the many threads already in these forums which clearly detail from the game code level up how these quests are fake, how you can't ever possibly take them, and how they are meant solely as a means to make you feel as if you're entering a 'world in progress' and competing against other heroes ahead of you.

There are, inevitably, two outcomes to this thread.

One, you realize you're acting WAY out of line, what with coming into someone else's house (these forums) and calling people here ahead of you, who were invited by the hosts in a sense, completely inappropriate names. You realize this and apologize, change your attitude, and enjoy the rest of your stay as a welcomed guest.

Two, you get busted down by the Mods, and get your account booted for being... uncivilized.

Either way, your attitude, sir or ma'am, is atrocious, and totally unwarranted.

Ok lets continue with wut u said about raising your renown quest u can only do so many quests until u have to advance the story line with a quest correct? after u do that one quest bam those other quests go away .... idiot

Better. Jhoward wasn't helping himself (herself?) by answering in kind, but to that user's defense, you did start it. As the other thread I linked to will point out, even when the modders cut down through the core code of the game, they found those quests to be dummy cards, which are not ever playable by the you, whether by glitches or by modding. I had the same questions when I first came here, so it's a very common thing people usually ask, as quests are really kind of few and far between, especially in the original Fable. If you're not playing the The Lost Chapters version, I would highly recommend it, as it truly fleshes out those times in the game where things seems to be ... not as fulfilling as they should.

Three quests. The search function is a bit touchy, it seems, so you sometimes have to be rather inventive in phrasing what you're looking for. I'm sure the many other users here can be of additional help in those regards as well.

Hey dominov i you probaly CAN get to hook coast but as for even picking up thoses quests...sorry but no...once you renown is at a certain lvl or high even to pick em up..they disappear..just wantin to let ya know. and yes ive tried em. Been playing fable for 2 years =)
