it's about time

as we all know fable 2 is going to be set 500 years after tlc, right. so if there is going to be a fable 3 or 4 how long are lionhead going to make the space between them? i don't think it could be another 500 years because the edwardian times are exactly the same as the victorian times. or maybe it's going to be in a different place. dude, it would be sooooooo cool if it was in like japan or someware like that with alot of history with magic and the supernatural!!!!

That is actually a concept I haven't thought of before, and I agree it would be awesome for Fable 3 to be set in Japan or similar places.^_^

It would be epic if lionhead made alot of updates to fable 2, but anyway here is a few of my ideas:
Colonial America,
Middle-east/holy crusade thing (not a assasins creed knock off, I thought of this idea many years before that)
3000 BC.
Fable 0, a prequel to fable

I'd like a prequel...the Oracle says a lot of cool stuff about the guild and certain members of it which all happened years before the first Fable so I'd be far more interested in playing something like that than moving the entire game over to Japan and turning into something it should never be...

the oracle also tells a few stories about what happend to the heroes you spared but you can't pick up on those stories since......you know

EDIT: regarding the prequel they would have to tread lightly, our hero must not interfere with the fable 1 prequel story line

Maybe they could alter the format slightly and you can choose to be either one of the existing heroes such as Maze, Scythe or Weaver (the guildmaster) or you could be one of the heroes that would have been part of their story but isn't mentioned specifically by the oracle.

Or you could be Scarlet Robe before she settled down and got hitched...

Yeah I thought about that idea but decided to drop it, hmm I think it would step away from the fable concept of buidling your own hero through actions, using a existing hero would cut off a major thing in fable, I'm thinking of a prequel where you could co-op with the different heroes. If you did a good quest briar rose could assist you, doing a evil quest twinblade could assist you and so on.

I reckon the prequel should simply be a Hero fighting the original Jack of Blades, then once he has seemingly killed Jack, he starts some sort of Hero's guild. (This obviously doesn't fit in with the whole Maze/Weaver started the guild though.>.<)

Yeah but that would crush one of the main elements in fable, the freedom of choice.
